The centre includes a number of research groups across LSHTM, UCL and Birkbeck:
- The UCL Genetics Institute is a multi-disciplinary centre for genetics research with cross-faculty support
- The LSHTM Genetic Epidemiology group runs a series of internal seminars and journal clubs
- The UCL Genetic Epidemiology group conducts a range of studies on large well-phenotyped cohorts
- The CRUK Epidemiology and Genetics group conducts genetic studies of breast cancer and mammographic density
- The South Asia Network for Chronic Disease is a collaborative venture with the Public Health Foundation of India
- The LSHTM Centre for Statistical Methodology has closely related interests
- Birkbeck Department of Psychological Sciences
